DiGidot PxLNet Transceiver for Transmitting or Receiving PxLNet data
The DiGidot PxLNet Transceiver is a small module that can be used to extend the data cable distance between a DiGidot PxLNet products.
The standard distance between a DiGidot C4 output is only a few meters (we recommend 2 meters / 6.5 ft).
The maximum distance between a DiGidot PxLNet products is 250 meters.
This PxLNet Transceiver has two operating modes:
- In receiving mode it converts PxLNet to the original SPI protocol (default mode).
- In Transmitting mode it converts a SPI signal to PxLNet.
Receiving mode can easily be changed to transmitting mode by removing the Tx/Rx jumper.
The transceiver can be soldered directly to most pixel controlled LED strips.
The RJ45 bus makes it easy to connect the data signal but it's also possible to solder all wires if necessary.
Note: This product is a PCB only and needs to be soldered. All grounds must be connected at all times.
We offer an optional screw terminal that can be soldered on the output. This improves connecting pre wired LED products easier and more reliable. (Please indicate with your order if you need them.)
