Pro-Dim 20P Location Local Control, CEE 32A 5P
The Anytronics Location Pro-Dim 20P is a single channel portable dimmer designed for use in studios and on location but is equally useful in event and theatre applications. Built with reliability in mind it has a triac rated at double the output current of the dimmer and is fully suppressed to comply with EN50081-1 for EMC emissions. Overcurrent protection is provided by a C type Thermal / Magnetic MCB which is situated beneath the input connector and a mains neon to the side of the input indicates power connected. Dimming is controlled by a rotary potentiometer located beside the output socket along with a flash button and LED indicators for Power Present and Load Detect. All the controls are well protected from damage by the output socket and the overhang of the case. Cooling is provided by a large heat sink in its own ventilated compartment which is completely isolated from the rest of the enclosure so there can be no ingress of water into the electronics. A wire carrying handle located below the output socket allows for easy carrying and can also be used to hang the dimmer from the lock-off of a stand. There is also a locating peg on the lid to enable the flap on the mains input socket to be locked in place preventing accidental disconnection.
